External Description:Providence is calling a Quality Manager.
The Quality Manager is responsible to lead the Quality, Safety, Compliance, Risk and Integrity programs of Providence SoundHomeCare and Hospice. This position is responsible for maintaining systems of organizational compliance with respective Home Health and Hospice state and federal regulations.
This role is accountable to develop and maintain Quality plans, lead or facilitate performance improvement efforts to achieve the goals and objectives of the ministry quality plan and assist in maintaining the status of both ministries as high quality service providers in their respective communities. Through the ongoing collection and analysis of data and in collaboration with local leadership teams, the Quality Manager identifies areas for process improvement and facilitates Continuous Quality Improvement efforts to address them by developing systems necessary to assess, analyze and trend data in a manner consistent with industry standards of practice and to support a data-driven quality improvement program.
The Manager works with leadership in both ministries to identify, track, report and improve on processes with a goal of assuring significant improvement in service delivery, increased organizational effectiveness and increased safety to those providing and receiving care. Due to the scope of the oversight responsibility, it will be necessary to engage other employees to successfully complete the work identified. The Manager will be a champion for utilization of the tools and resources of Operational Excellence.
The Manager is a participant on the PSCS Excellence Team and the PSCS Community Based Ministries Quality Team with membership or guidance to focused quality improvement project teams with other PSCS ministries. Across PSCS there will be priority placed on consistency of plans, policies, processes between like ministries whenever possible, with emphasis on sharing of resources and best practices to optimize the level of care and service delivery and to create a Culture of Quality across PSCS utilizing available resources to elevate the outcomes of all ministries.
We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence.
Position Specifics
This position is located at Providence SoundHomeCare & Hospice in Olympia, WA. This is a full time (1.0 FTE/ 40 hours per week) benefits eligible position.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:Bachelor?s degree, preferably RN or other health care clinical field.Licenses/Certifications:Professional license where appropriate, preferably RN. A valid Washington State driver?s license with access to use of an insured reliable vehicle or an alternate ability to travel regularly to sites as required, particularly between the two ministries.
Experience:Two years healthcare quality improvement experience; at least two years of hospice or home health clinical, management or administrative experience preferred. Training in Operational Excellence or equivalent Quality Improvement process methodology is strongly preferred.
