Cardiovascular Technologist in Anchorage Alaska United States

Title: Cardiovascular Technologist
Location: Alaska-Anchorage
Providence is calling a full time technologist for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.

In this position, you will:
* Be responsible for patient care in cardiovascular/interventional radiology Labs. Patient population ranges from neonates to senior citizens.
* Assist cardiovascular Physicians in performing and completing invasive, interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies.
* Be knowledgeable in vascular, cardiac, and pediatric procedural practice as well as emergent techniques/protocol.
* Assist in Quality Control checks/Quality Improvement Program.
* Perform all duties in a manner which promotes "team" concept and reflect the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.
Qualifications for this position include:
* Preference given to graduates of an accredited school with supervised clinical experience in invasive Cardiovascular, and/or interventional radiological procedures.
* Should be ARRT or CVT registered. RCIS preferred at time of hire.
* BLS and ACLS required
* Knowledge base of Hospital radiology techniques, theory, and procedures necessary.
* Previous Special Procedures/Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technician experience preferred.
