Neurodiagnostic Technologist in Anchorage Alaska United States

Title: Neurodiagnostic Technologist
Location: Alaska-Anchorage
Providence is calling an on call neurodiagnostic technician for the Sleep Disorders Center at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.

In this position, you will:
* Set up patients for EEG, PSG and/or EP testing, produce artifact free records and document patient histories and medications.
* Calibrate, clean, and troubleshoot equipment with safe operating techniques and maintain inventory and/orders supplies.
* Analyze, produce, distribute, and follow-up on patient data and score accurately while recording.
* Perform neurodiagnostic testing according to national standards and guidelines.
* Administer medications within the Scope of Practice for Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
Qualifications for this position include:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Current registration as a PSG Technologist by BRPT, or EEG Technologist by ABRET, or EP Technologist by ABRET.
* CPR/Basic Life Support must be current.
* One or more years experience in Neurodiagnostic and/or polysomnographic testing.
* Must be able to work with minimal supervisionJob: Other Licensed Technicians
