Title: Occupational Therapist - PEDS

Providence is calling a pediatrics occupational therapist for the Providence Anchorage Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.

In this position, you will:
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate occupational therapy services for pediatric patients in collaboration with physicians, primary partners, and patient/family.
* Assess, evaluate, and implement Occupational Therapy services for children, ages birth to 18, according to professional standards and under the prescription of a physician licensed in the state of Alaska.
* Collaborate with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with standards and guidelines established by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
* Document evaluation plans, care delivered and outcomes according to hospital and department standards and implement care and services that recognize age and diversity specific need and issues of customers served.

Qualifications for this position include:
* Bachelor’s, Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy required.
* Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Alaska.
* Experience in pediatrics required.
* Must be able to work independently and with team.
* Must be able to instruct para-and non-professional staff.
