Title: Physical Therapist - Pediatrics
Location: Alaska-Anchorage
Providence is calling a part time pediatrics physical therapist for the Providence Anchorage Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.

In this position, you will:

* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate physical therapy for pediatric patients in Anchorage.
* Communicate with team members and outside agencies to identify the patient needs, changes in overall condition of patient, and determine future levels of care
* Contacts vendors for durable medical equipment needs and demonstrates safe use and knowledge of equipment.
* Assists in coordinating discharge plans and provides patient, family and community education.
* Document evaluation plans, care delivered and outcomes according to hospital and department standards and implement care and services that recognize age and diversity specific need and issues of customers served.

Qualifications for this position include:
* Bachelor’s, Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
* Current license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Alaska.
* BLS certification required.
* Experience and credentials in pediatrics required.
* Must be able to work independently and with team.
* Must be able to instruct para-and non-professional staff.
