Regional Manager Financial Planning in Anchorage Alaska United States

Title: Regional Manager Financial Planning
Location: Alaska-Anchorage
Providence is calling a regional manager of financial planning for the PHSA Planning and Reporting Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.

In this position, you will:
* Provide orientation, training, scheduling and supervision of assigned staff.
* Establish and measure competencies and related guidelines for staff.
* Coordinate the development of the Alaska Service Area-wide annual budget.
* Prepare financial and management summaries/analysis for clear communications and assessments of the Budget.
* Coordinate the development of the Alaska Region long range financial plan.
* Participate in the monthly analysis and preparation of financial statements for the region including monthly written summaries of analyses of assigned areas.
* Prepare or participate in the design of accounting systems for new lines of service, new departments or new entities for the region to include projects related to cost accounting and/or clinical pathways.
Qualifications for this position include:
* Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field required.
* Masters in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
* CPA, CMA or related Finance related certification/licensure preferred.
* Five years of progressive accounting and finance experience in healthcare.
* Work with a non-profit organization or health care provider preferred.
* Must possess expert level of PC software and applications.
* Must be able to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with all levels of employees of PHSA and outside parties.Job: Finance & Accounting
