RN Staff Cath Lab in Anchorage Alaska United States

Title: RN Staff Cath Lab
Location: Alaska-Anchorage
Providence is calling a full time registered nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.

In this position, you will:
* Assist physicians in performing and completing therapeutic cardiovascular procedures using a variety of specialized equipment, monitors, devices and supplies.
* Assist with pre, intra, and post procedure monitoring per hospital protocol.
* Be knowledgeable in cardiac, vascular and pediatric procedural practice as well as emergency techniques/protocol.
* Be responsible for the assessment, treatment and care of patients in populations and ages as assigned.
* Coordinate and communicate the patient’s plan of care and activities collaboratively with other members of the health care team.
* Perform all duties in a manner that respects and supports the family centered care model.
Qualifications for this position include:
* Must be a graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
* Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska at time of hire.
* BLS, ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
* RCIS certification preferred.
* Two years experience in critical care nursing/emergency nursing,cardiovascular, interventional radiology or electrophysiology preferred
* Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks, and work with a variety of health unit teams.Job: Cardiac Care Nursing
