Providence is calling a Neurodiagnostic Technician for a position at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA.

We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technician for our Burbank facility.
In this position you will:
*
Perform standard and complex electroencephalographic and evoked potential recordings as directed according to established standards and procedures.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Specialized 2-year training and Certificate in Neurodiagnostics by the State of California. As of January 1, 2005 all new Neurodiagnostic Technicians must be certified.
* The Certified Neurodiagnostic Technician has completed a 2-year Associate of Science Degree from an ASET (American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technicians)-approved program.
* BLS for Healthcare Providers sponsored by the American Heart Association.
* The certified EEG technician has completed formal and clinical experience in intraoperative examinations, ICU EEG monitoring, Electroencephalography (EEG) and in Evoked Potential (BAEP, PVEP, SSEP) testing as well as other neurological testing procedures. Some of the testing procedures include nerve conduction testing, brain mapping, telemetry, transcranial doppler (TCD) studies, polysomnography, nerve conduction velocity, surgical monitoring, telemetry and ambulatory recording.
* Certification in electroencephalography

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

* 1 - 2 years, clinical experience preferred.
