Title: Chaplain-Night/Weekend Call
Location: Oregon-Hood River
Providence is calling an on-call Chaplain for a rotating/variable shift position at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR.
In this position, you will:
* Provide spiritual and emotional support, guidance and crisis intervention to patients, their families, guests, volunteers, employees and physicians when called at night & on weekends.
* Support the decision-makers with skills in medical ethics as applied to health care.

The requirements for this position include:
* Advance studies in theology, philosophy, divinity, spirituality or related field required.
* Board Certification from APC, NACC, NAJC strongly preferred.
* Prior experience in pastoral ministry required.
* Training in crisis management/critical incident stress management preferred.
* Bereavement training and experience required.
* Prior health care experience strongly preferred.
* Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) experience strongly preferred.
* Spanish Speaking strongly preferred.
