Providence is calling a full time registered nurse at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center in Kodiak, AK.

In this position, you will:
* Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in assigned department.
* Assess patient needs, plans, and performs interventions, evaluates responses to care and documents this nursing process.
* Carry out the plan of care of the individual, including medical orders, and the plan of care identified by other involved disciplines.
* Evaluate the response of patient interventions and revises plan of care as needed.
Qualifications for this position include:
* Completion of an accredited nursing program. Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
* Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska at the time of hire
* Depending upon nursing area of specialty, preferred candidates will have one or more of the following certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, MDS, PALS, or NRP.
* Two years professional experience as a registered nurse is preferred.
