Title: Family Medicine Faculty Physician
Location: Washington-Olympia

Olympia, Washington–Providence St. Peter Family Medicine Residency has an immediate opening for an excellent Family Medicine physician leader to join our faculty. This is an exciting time to join our program, as we recently received a federal grant to expand our innovative, progressive program from 6-6-6 to 7-7-7. No teaching or clinical experience required, but ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and for learning and exploring new models of care, especially the medical home model which is a growing strength of the program (we are a pilot site charged with developing medical homes in the area). Our new faculty member will join not only the team leading the innovative, growing residency program, but also Providence Medical Group - Southwest Washington, our physician-led, Providence-employed medical group offering robust cross-specialty peer collaboration, business infrastructure, and a very competitive compensation and benefits package.
Providence St. Peter Family Medicine Residency Program is affiliated with Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia and the University of Washington School of Medicine. Close collaboration and program review with other residencies in the UW Residency Network ensure the program maintains high quality instruction and experience. The program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
Olympia is located on the southern tip of scenic Puget Sound, which offers an abundance of saltwater activities from beachcombing to salmon fishing and sailing. The magnificent Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges also provide amazing scenery and recreation opportunities. Olympia has a population of 43,000, small enough to see your neighbors around town, big enough to offer an abundance of culture and entertainment. And, for those really big city amenities, both Seattle and Portland, Oregon, are about 90 minutes away by car.
