Licensed Practical Nurse Transitional Care in Olympia Washington United States

Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Transitional Care
Location: Washington-Olympia
Providence is calling a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to Providence Mother Joseph Care Center in Olympia, WA.

We are seeking a compassionate and caring nurse to provide safe and reliable nursing care to the residents who live in our skilled nursing facility.

In this position you will:
* Act as an advocate for patients in maintaining choice, independence, privacy, dignity and security.
* Assist in providing care and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan or as directed by the nurse leader on duty.
* Have responsibility for providing support and assistance to subacute patients and long term care residents, which may include those with Alzheimers and Dementia.
Required qualifications for this position include:
* Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
* Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Washington State
* Current CPR Certification
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
* At least one year of nursing experience
* Prior patient care experience in subacute, long term care and/or with Alzheimers or Dementia patients

Providence Mother Joseph Care Center in Olympia, Washington serves people of all ages and faiths. Our Transitional Care Unit is designed for patients coming out of the hospital who need skilled nursing care, end of life care, or rehabilitation for those recovering from surgery or who have a functional loss from illness, disease, or an accident. Our Long Term Care unit provides skilled nursing in a residential setting, addressing the needs of our residents through creating a sense of community and home in neighborhoods and providing a model of care that is resident-centered.Job: Nursing Support (CNA, MA, NURSE AIDE)
