Title: Occupational Therapist – Certified Hand Therapist
Location: Washington-Olympia
Providence is calling an Certified Hand Occupational Therapist to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
We are seeking an Certified Hand OT to join our team of caregivers whowill work on a variety of cases in our own Hand Clinic that has close proximity to our Orthopedic and Outpatient equipment. Diagnoses can include but are not limited to poly-trauma cases, crush injuries, tendon laceration, fractures and fracture dislocation, amputations, burns, cumulative trauma, arthritis and nerve injuries.

In this position you will:
* Provide hand therapy treatments and occupational therapy services including evaluation, treatment and implementation for acute care, inpatient and outpatient therapy services
* Establish treatment goals and plan of care based on assessment and test results
* Provide therapy treatment to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability
* Provide education to patients and their families
* This position will provide services for all 5 of our outpatient clinics in Olympia and Centralia.
Required qualifications for this position include:
* Minimum Bachelor’s Degree and a Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
* Current Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure in Washington State OR eligible for licensure in WA state.
* Current Certified Hand Therapist OR eligible to sit for CHT exam.
* Current CPR certification

Preferred qualifications for this position include:
* One year experience in a therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical field
