Title: Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Washington-Olympia
Providence is calling a Physical Therapy Assistant to St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.

We are seeking a certified Physical Therapy Assistant to provide physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures to patients.

In this position you will:
* Assist in providing physical therapy treatment as directed by the Physical Therapist
* Ability to function independently and as part of an multidisciplinary team

* Carry out discharge plans as specified by the treatment plan. Be responsible for communication with patients and their families, physicians, nurses, and other personnel regarding patient care.

Required qualifications for this position include:
* Graduate of an APTA approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program, usually an associate’s of science degree
* Washington State Physical Therapy Assistant certification

Preferred qualifications for this position include:
* One year experience in a physical therapist assistant capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical field
* New grads are encouraged to apply
