Title: Coordinator- HIM Data Quality & Compliance
Location: Oregon-Portland
Providence is calling a full-time Coordinator- HIM Data Quality & Compliance for a day shift position at Providence Home Services Building in Portland, OR.

In this position, you will:

* Coordinate CQI, JCAHO, compliance, and focused audits for Home Health, Hospice, and Home Infusion.
* Be responsible for working with the management team and HS Quality Manager in identifying the focus of the review, developing appropriate review indicators, and collection of data. Scope of work also includes collating audit data, participating in discussions regarding the audit findings and preparing a concise summary of the action plan.
* Be responsible for Home Health PPS review which includes ensuring clinical documentation is in compliance with CMS regulations prior to the transmission of the final claim.
* Work in collaboration with HIM and Clinical Managers and Supervisors to ensure the integrity of data in the electronic and paper medical record.

Qualifications for this position include:

* Bachelor degree in Health Care or related field preferred.
* Registered Health Information Technician certification.
* A valid Driver’s License, Auto Liability Insurance and Reliable Transportation.
* 3 years experience in process or quality improvement.
* Prior experience in CMS (Medicare) compliance review preferred.
* Experience in a Home Health or Hospice Agency preferred.
* In compliance with the Providence Health & Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 Background Checks”, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties.
