Title: RN Manager Emergency Services
Location: Oregon-Portland

Providence is calling a full-time RN Manager-Emergency Services for a day position at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland , OR.

In this position, you will:

* Be accountable for the provision and quality of nursing services at St. Vincent Medical Center, in support of Providence Health & Services System and Regional goals.
* Strategically ensure a balance of optimal and efficient patient care; staff, patient, and physician satisfaction; and cooperative partnerships with other organizational departments and professional groups.
* Focus on patient-centeredness and staff and patient safety, the Nurse Manager creates and maintains standards and systems for care delivery for their department(s).
* Deliver systems of care that promote evidence-based practice and are designed to support the management of productivity targets within a context of constant change in patient volumes, patient acuity, and available resources.
* Lead in patient care delivery and planning strategically, consistently support efficient and effective patient care services, and achieve department objectives that support the organizational and system goals.
* Advance the strategic vision and goals of the Oregon Nursing Center of Excellence.
* Constructively manage change and promote a team-based approach.
* Model professional nursing standards and expectations consistently; perform all duties in a manner that reflects the Sisters of Providence Mission and philosophy.

Qualifications for this position include:

BSN, MSN or Masters in related field required.
*
Must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon.
*
BLS Healthcare Provider.
*
Emergency Nurse Certification preferred.
* Six years ED nursing experience in progressive leadership roles.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, electronic communication systems.
