Providence is calling a Customer Service Coordinator for the Providence Seward Medical Center in Seward, AK.
The Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for clinic scheduling, outpatient registration, collection of payments, patient flow, and switchboard.

In this position, you will:
* Assemble medical records and appropriate forms for daily clinic schedule.
* Schedule patient clinic appointments.
* Register all clinic and ancillary patients for daily schedule.
* Collect and process over the counter payments and other pay information.
* Answer and direct calls through switchboard.
* Initial contact for walk-in and telephone customer service inquiries
Qualifications for this position include:
* High School graduate or equivalent. Completion of a medical terminology course preferred.
* Two years office or customer service experience required. Experience in admitting and scheduling preferred.
* Customer service skills, organization and communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology and third-party payor issues and co-pay responsibilities preferred. Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
