Providence is Calling a Intensive Care Unit Nurse to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance in Torrance CA.

We are seeking a registered nurse to work in our 28 bed ICU Unit. Little Company of Mary ICU offers a physically beautiful work environment that has 28 beds of which 24 are private rooms. There are two large bay rooms with four bed total that are primarily used for the admission and recovery of immediate post open heart surgery patients.

In this position you will:
* Implement and maintain established department, unit, administrative, and clinical policies/procedures for patient care, safety, and infection control.
* Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment with attention to each patient's physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual needs.
* Collaborate and communicate with other personnel to maintain good employee relations, meet interdepartmental objectives, and optimize patient care.
* Provide direction to team members to coordinate care of assigned patients and problem-solve patient care issues during the shift.

Required qualifications for this position include:

Current California RN License
*
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
*
Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
*
1 year of experience working in the ICU
